Basis for Psychic Phenomena
Researchers in "bioenergy" or biological energy, psionics, psychoenergetics, and psychic phenomena are a minority. Their work is scientifically verifiable, yet most of them are left out of mainstream academia; it's like teaching architecture students how to build a house in this modern day and age without green energy technology. That's a careless waste.
In physics, we were taught to look at reality from different perspectives. For example, we could look at physical reality as "frozen energy." By the same token, I had wished that someone had told me that qigong is a form of applied biophysics and that extra sensory perception is a form of applied quantum electrodynamics.
In fact, we CAN quantify human psychodynamics. We need only study the vastly ignored quantum microtubule system and their relationship to psychic phenomena. From the perspective of these microtubules, one enlightened person has power equivalent to the sun.

The sort of "house" that's being built in schools when they leave out the subject of bioenergy and psychic energy from life sciences is a "house" built without electricity; it's a "house" from the dark ages.
Mainstream teachers like to talk about the "plumbing" like kids in a school yard, but they don't want to address the many levels of energy throughout the living body; they feel that something like "psychic energy," for instance, is so much mystical, magical mumbo-jumbo, but they prefer to think of humanity as a bunch of biochemical meatsacks running around as "accidents" in an accidental universe.

The reality is that the "electricity" is there to use within our "house" whether the mainstream academicians acknowledge it or not. The "electricity" of which I speak is not from conventional electromagnetic (EM) waves like from your power outlet.
The "electricity" emitted from our bodies and minds is pure potential energy; this type of energy need only resonate with a target any where in the universe to manifest itself. Scalar waves, for example, are capable of carrying intelligence or intention such as biological information. Manifestation can be in the form of an EM force or any kind of paranormal event which we lovingly refer to as Psychoenergetics.
When we open one of those New Age hype magazines like Open Exchange and we can look under personal growth and see listings that say: "22 Strand DNA Activation," "Spontaneous Imaging," "Space Blessing and clearing." Then we look under seminars and workshops and found more weird things like "lifematrix," "holotropic breathwork," or "alchemical divination." Then we find ourselves not exactly inspired by any of it because we just can't relate to it.
As for myself, I've been through these new age fads with their spur of the moment spiritual concepts and highly specialised lingo, so I could try to discern what was useful. I turned out exposing most of them for what they were: Derivations of ancient concepts; more on this ahead.
Why new age fads don't work (for most people)
When we attend one of these new age meetings with hope, but find ourselves lost. It's not our fault: we're not exactly into new age concepts of self improvement: Too much made up, new age lingo, not enough down to earth concepts. They may even be cult like in nature which can only make things worse by biasing us against legitimate arenas of spiritual growth and mental discipline.
The problem with most new age counseling programs is the instructor's inability to relate to people who are not scientifically inclined or knowledgeable about esoteric concepts. An instructor who is only used to working with other new age initiates may push for progress too quickly with those who are uninitiated.
For the most part, new age personal development instructors are only interested in communicating with purely suggestible mind patterns; these are people who are mostly lost and vulnerable, ready to cling to any idea that identifies with their personal feelings because the effect of decadent society on their personal lives have left them cold.
On the other hand, these "instructors" may devote more time to those who are more open to their concepts while leaving everyone else wondering.
Often times, this can strain your confidence in truly useful methods of personal growth. Instructors who could have helped you in your life, caused more self doubt because of their ignorance and avoidence; this only makes our confusion worse about what "self improvement" methods really work.
The instructor's duty is to make sure that his students understand the materials, or else he's failed his job. By the same token, it's also up to the students to ask the instructor questions, no matter how stupid they think the question is, so that they truly understand the materials.

Keys to a Successful Personal Development Course
A successful self improvement program for people who do not understand or relate to esoteric concepts requires three things:
personal development instructors who can communicate esoteric concepts to us at a down to earth level;

My first interest is in healing through medical qigong and other forms of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I'm a certified in Oriental Sports Training because of my passion for this subject. I learned the basic flow of energy in the body known as "Qi" in Chinese Culture led by "Yi," the mind, through discipline. The canned responses of a swollen ego vary from "you need to read more" to "you need to go back to school." The problem is that big ego couldn't care less about the education of people who remain obedient to their whims. As long as you stroke their egos, you can have the intelligence of a doormat. What the big ego really wants to say is "you need to come around to my way of thinking..."

More importantly, bioelectricity carries intention and emotions specific to each organ in our bodies according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The basic premise of EFT comes from TCM: Circulation is health, Stagnation is sickness. If we're traumatized, especially at a young age, then emotional blockages appear in the meridian system while the amygdala in the brain acts as an emotional high pressure valve. Those emotional blockages cause emotional armor which leads to physical armor which leads to aches, pains, biochemical imbalances, and other chronic ailments.

I find that most people are mindless and careless about the world around them; they treat others including themselves too nonchalently until they "WAKE UP." Most people are sleep walking, BUT they wake up to their love. Yes, some people wake up for their love of money, but I don't want to talk about them.
Fortunately, many people wake up to their passion. They wake up to their purpose in life. They wake up to the passion they have for own their lives within the great river of life. Everyone loves to "fit in" one way or another into cultures, subcultures, and underground cultures. The ones who find their passion are the fortunate ones; at least, they found a way to "WAKE UP."
