How Your Christ Consciousness Conquers Disease Outbreaks

Veterans Day may be the best time to address the most deadly issues at hand in our country. After all, U.S. War Vets fought to keep this country safe. My father was a WWII Vet (He was pretty old when he got married). He told me about his tour in New Guinea, showed me his war wounds. He told me about the pain and suffering (in his tour of duty).

As a soldier, his only job was to kill the “enemy.” Isn’t that reasonable? Kill the “enemy.” What’s the problem with that? Part of the problem is that soldiers only know to kill the “enemy,” namely other soldiers fighting for who knows what.  In the USA, at least we know our veterans fought to protect our political freedoms.

But what about our health freedoms? What good is political freedom when there are further enemies threatening our bodies in other ways? Who is fighting to protect our health freedoms? Who is the enemy threatening our health freedoms? Here are two examples, big examples:

How to Defeat Impulsive Behavior for Self Control through Christ

At a time in human society when social mood is declining because of fear mongering disease, terrorists, threat of famine, and home grown threats, one of the symptoms of declining social mood is impulsive behavior.

Impulsive behavior leads to mindless actions. For example, some people drive as if they are the only ones on the road. Others believe it’s OK to force a low quality system of health care on a people at a high price.

One of the problems is we, as a people, look to our authority figures as examples. When we watch them acting and talking impulsively, we believe it’s OK to do the same. Ironically, we wonder why our kids act so impulsively, because “We were raised good…”

When you talk and act impulsively, what impression do you believe you’re making on your kids?

An article at Medical Express provides information on mindful versus mindless behavior from a clinical study:

Mindful individuals less affected by immediate rewards

.Here are a few excerpts:

“These findings suggest that mindful individuals may be less affected by immediate rewards and fits well with the idea that mindful individuals are typically less impulsive” says Teper…

“Many studies, including our own past work, have shown that people who meditate, and mindful individuals exhibit improved self-control. If mindful individuals are also less affected by immediate rewards, as our study suggests, this may help explain why,” says Teper’s PhD supervisor and UTSC psychology professor Michael Inzlicht.

In the next post, you’re going to see where declining social mood is taking the health and well being of human society. For now, what is your choice? Do you want to have self control as a mindful person? Or do you prefer to be mindless about yourself and the rest of humanity? If you choose to be mindful, I recommend a Christ-Mind Pattern. Here is an excerpt from Unexplainable:

Epigenetics, part 3: How to Program Your Genes using the Butterfly Effect

Butterfly Effect

Lorenz AttractorWhile working on a weather prediction problem one day in 1961, Edward Lorenz, using a computer to model the weather with a system of 12 basic equations, ran a program from the middle rather than the beginning — and entered parameters to three decimal places, rather than the normal six.

Lorenz was surprised to see how differently the weather patterns evolved. Such minute changes, he supposed, might be caused by something as trivial as the beating of a butterfly’s wing.

Lorenz had discovered the so-called “butterfly effect,” and was soon embroiled in chaos theory

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions, where a small change at one place in a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences to a later state…

I have yet to mention the Butterfly Effect, anywhere, as it applies to self-aware, living systems like us. Most of us know the butterfly effect as “karma” or the old saying, “what goes around, comes around.” Psychoenergetics Experts like Peter Lindemann, Rupert Sheldrake, William Tiller, and Gerald O’Donnell of Probable Future infer the butterfly effect as it applies to self-awareness in the same vein wherein small, yet significant changes can lead to larger, (non-linear) effects in our lives.

In this continuation from Epigenetics, part 2: How to Program Your Genes and more, I want to show you how small changes in our lives and our seemingly random choices positively (or negatively) affect our DNA expressions via epigenetics, ergo, our quality of life.

Those of you who are familiar with the movie of the same name starring Ashton Kutcher should know that mainstream sci-fi has a tendency to fictionalize reality. Reality can be stranger than fiction. Ashton’s character could exist in only one time line at a time. Each of us are more complex in that every potential timeline including the ones that can result in large differences in our lives later exists within our minds, right now. Let me elucidate the butterfly effect as it applies to the fabric of your reality.

How to Maintain Focus, Concentration, and Creativity

If you’re wondering how to maintain your momentum from World Tai Chi / QiGong Day, you can always carry on with the right music. After all, we can’t always practice Tai Chi or QiGong. We must also focus on other works and studies, with the hope that our Taijiquan / QiGong practice will enhance our productivity.

When we can, we like to have our favorite tunes in the background to help us carry on and pass the time while we work and/or study. We all have our favorite music, but How do we know what is the “right” music? What kind of music helps us to maintain our focus and concentration?

A project headed by Andrew Foust and spear headed by the Transparent Corporation has an answer. Here is the press release: Can Listening to Music Improve Focus and Concentration?

It is beneficial for Tai Chi and Qigong teachers to understand Chinese Medicine… Not to practice TCM, but just to fill in their tai chi and qigong understanding with another layer of depth.

As we know the old saying: “Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a life time.” That’s the idea behind learning the foundations of Taijiquan and QiGong. Rather than simply sticking a “fishing pole” in your hand and telling you, “Go Practice Tai Chi Now because it’s World Tai Chi QiGong Day,” it’s just as well to understand why you’re doing it such as “how does it benefit you?”

For now, I’m leaving the health benefits to your body with the experts. Bill Douglas has a touching story of why he advocated QiGong practice for his mother:

‘What drove me personally to organize World Tai Chi & Qigong Day was a note my mother wrote to me the night before she died. She had stress/heart disease and I’d tried to get her to do tai chi and qigong, but there was no validation of it from her doctor or popular culture, Reader’s Digest, etc. She didn’t do it. But, in that note she wrote to me the night before her passing, she wrote, “I wish I could go back a few years and practice the arts of relaxation Jr. tried to teach me. I so would have loved to see my grandchildren grow up…”‘

Subsequently, this event led to Bill Douglas organizing WTCQD. Now, that Tai Chi Chuan and QiGong practice have become mainstream, the “Big Guns” like Harvard Medical have something to say about the health benefits in their latest book:

The Harvard Medical School Guide to Tai Chi: 12 Weeks to a Healthy Body, Strong Heart, and Sharp Mind (Harvard Health Publications)

Book Description

April 9, 2013 Harvard Health Publications

Conventional medical science on the Chinese art of Tai Chi now shows what Tai Chi masters have known for centuries: regular practice leads to more vigor and flexibility, better balance and mobility, and a sense of well-being. Cutting-edge research from Harvard Medical School also supports the long-standing claims that Tai Chi also has a beneficial impact on the health of the heart, bones, nerves and muscles, immune system, and the mind. This research provides fascinating insight into the underlying physiological mechanisms that explain how Tai Chi actually works…

Therefore, if you want a western perspective rather than trying to understand Traditional Chinese Medical theory (which is esoteric), Harvard has the book for you.

Maharishi Effect

As I have explained in previous posts, We need only the square root of one tenth of one percent of the population to reach enlightenment to saturate the rest of human consciousness with greater understanding towards the rest of the universe. Every WTCQD has produced a day of peace and productivity. On every WTCQD, the lamestream news has “very little” to report because there has been no great tragedy.

On the other hand, creativity, mutual benefits, and productivity are lifted to greater heights with new concepts and achievements to further lift up humanity; this is what HealingMindN stands for.

Here is the press release and further information for finding a WTCQD event in your area:

The Psi Wars Just Went Nuclear on TED + Remote Viewing Report

The C4Chaos webmaster has published one of the most comprehensive, authoritative papers I’ve seen on remote viewing and other psychic phenomena: The Psi Wars Just Went Nuclear on TED < ~C4Chaos.

The paper contains video presentations and interviews with Russel Targ, Michael Persinger, Dr. Harold Puthoff, and Jaques Vallee on remote viewing; this paper is a response to TED Talks execs who fingered the practitioners of “pseudoscience” known as remote viewing. This condemnation is on the same level of White House Rep or other authority figures believing they represent the majority of public opinion while committing the error of projecting their personal opinions.

The Boston Marathon Incident and other disasters

Those of you who believe that there is no such thing as psychic powers because “people” would have been precognitive of the event must understand something: Most people are not trained to use their psychic powers – most people get “flashes,” but their “flashes” are easily and quickly dismissed because of the dismissive culture around them.

The people who do train are not only few and far between, their opinions, predictions, and even their existence are not acknowledged by mainstream media. When they are acknowledged, irregardless of valid studies and track records in psychic research, a few skeptics representing an organization like TED Talks will point the finger of “pseudoscience” at them.

Most people who train their psychic powers are not doing it as an end means to itself; that would be like a dog barking for the sake of barking. Our psychic powers are a tool to help us accomplish our objectives. Does this mean psychic powers should be merely for personal gain? Of course not.

NLP: Neurolinguistic Acupressure for Generating Positive Feelings to Sleep Well

The previous post, How To You Serve Your Love on Valentine’s Day: Sleep Well, let us know how important sleep is to our love lives. While I’m sure the Attitude Breathing® Tool is an effective sleep aid for followers of the Institute of Heart Math (IHM), I have chosen to elaborate upon their instructions for your personal benefit using NLP.

The neurolinguistic programming (NLP) approach to the IHM instructions may take you more than five minutes. More than likely, you will find yourself sound asleep before you are completely done; this is fine.

When you wake in the middle of the night – as many of us do – simply continue the exercise from where you left, so you can go back to sleep right away. You may find that your dreams are even more intense, enlightening, and memorable upon your waking. Below, please see how I elaborate upon each of the IHM instructions with NLP instructions.

How To You Serve Your Love on Valentine’s Day: Sleep Well

True Love

On the morning after Jack Benny’s death, his widow, Mary, received a single long-stemmed rose from the local florist. When another rose was delivered the next day, Mary called the florist and was told her of an order her husband had placed before he died: He had made provision in his will for the florist to supply “one perfect red rose daily for the rest of Mary’s life.”

Jack Benny was before my time, but he is still one of my favorite comedians. He was a violinist who would point out ridiculous behavior in others with his own embarassment. For now, I also want to point out a certain behavior in others who have unrequited love.

Mostly young people have dreams of unrequited love. When we’re young, we tend to be a bit selfish, so we dream about how a person we admire from a distance (regardless of time/space/social barriers) returns our love.

On the other hand, when we become elderly, like Jack Benny, we have a tendency towards unrequited love – especially after we’ve passed on: We have a tendency towards people who have requited our love. We want to be remembered by that person. We want to make them feel good. We want to make them feel secure even after we’re gone.

People like Jack Benny had the advantage of having requited love, being remembered, feeling good and secure. I would say he had the advantage of an “eternal rest,” but who am I to say what happens to us after we’ve passed on? Perhaps, his energy was dispersed into parts of humanity which also feel embarassement for ridiculous behavior. Perhaps, his soul touched each of those perfect red roses.

As for the rest of us, the way we rest or sleep hinges on our ability to relax in the wake of stress, all kinds of stress. The way we treat our love life hinges on our ability to be able to relax and sleep when we need it.

Why Your Dreams are More Important Beginning with 2013

Abraham Lincoln: Catafalque

Late one night in 1865, Abraham Lincoln had a discomforting dream. Walking through the silent White House toward the sound of sobbing, he entered the East Room and was confronted by the sight of a catafalque (a coffin platform) covered in black, surrounded by a group of mourners. Lincoln proceeded to ask the guard on duty who had died. The man’s reply? “The president.”

[One week later, Lincoln, who had discussed the dream with several people, was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. (Lincoln also had a dream on the eve of his election: While peering into a large mirror, he saw two distinct images of himself; one, much paler, superimposed upon the other. Lincoln’s wife, told of the dream, interpreted it to mean that he would be elected to a second term but would not live through it.)]

We have all kinds of dreams including precognitive dreams. Most people don’t pay attention to their dreams – at least – not on the surface. Some people prefer to forget and dismiss their dreams as mindless, random figments of their imaginations. Others claim that they don’t dream at all. I’m not too worried about these types of people; I’m worried about you, your dreams, and the basis of your dreams. I’m worried about the reality which you influence and create based upon your dreams.
