When I recently discovered that Elvis Presley was a fan of numerology, I decided to do some digging. A family friend who happens to be an Elvis devotee/impersonator brought up the synchronicities in his life; that’s when I decided to look up the synchronicities in Elvis’ Life. Recently, I did a revealing study on Elvis’ Numerology.
Why is there skepticism about Numerology?
First of all, let me cover the subject of numerology. Most people are skeptical, so they consider it as woot – like astrology. Unfortunately, they’re right, but only because most “numerologists” make mountains out of mole hills; that is, they denote too much value and meaning to numbers using just one name and a few numbers; it’s as if numbers are so much more important than people that they are defined by numbers alone. When I did a web search on Elvis’ Numerology, all I could find was woot – even at one of his sanctioned sites. Most, if not all, “numerologists” treat numerology like a tightly closed box of loosely strung doctrines that are rewritten with each passing interpretation.
Correct me if I’m wrong: People are more than the sum of their names. They are the sum of their experiences including their family and social circle. Therefore, we must examine the numerology of important details concerning a person’s life as well. We need to examine how numerology in one situation coincides with other surrounding numerology in order to establish a relationship.
What is the REAL Purpose of Numerology?
Numerology is a measuring tool to help us understand and know a person, place, or thing. The numeric values of letters are derived from ancient gematria used in days of antiquity by Hebrews, Chinese, and Egyptians wherein the actual “value” of a person’s name was calculated according to pertinent variables. The further purpose of numerology is explained in The Healer’s Handbook: A Journey Into Hyperspace by Stewart Swerdlow. The following is an excerpt from p.39, Reading DNA/Tuning into Frequencies to help us understand the further purpose of numerology:
“..when the frequency rate of resonance or vibration of a particular (person) is ascertained, the probing mind can assume that rate to access that person… You have probably had the experience of suddenly thinking about someone and the phone rings with a call from that person. Or, you call someone and they greet you with, “Oh, I was just thinking about you!” Through concentration and (resonance), thought transference was achieved… If you want to help a person or read energies to obtain information, you must tune into the name frequency…”
As you will see, I’m going a few steps further than Mr. Swerdlow to help us understand Elvis’ Life.
How to do Numerology
In numerology, we add the values of letters and numbers together and reduce them to their base “numbers of meaning” using Pythagorean Reduction.
First of all, we derive the values of our arabic system of letters from this standardized table:
Cagliostro, a person who worked in “magik” in the 19th century, created a different table that corresponded Arabic letters to Hebrew, but there are no correspondences for the value of 9 using that system, whereas 9 is very important in Elvis’ Numerology, so we use the above table.
We add the values of the letters or numbers together and use a system called Pythagorean Reduction to reveal their base value; this system simply adds the resulting numbers together until they reveal important double digits, single digits, or both.
To help you understand Pythagorean Reduction, please have a look at What are the Solfeggio frequencies?; this paper does an excellent job of revealing base frequencies of 3,9,6 through Pythagorean Reduction using Bible Passage references. For those of you who prefer a more technical example, please refer to Demonstration of Goldbach’s Conjecture using Pythagorean Reductions.
The importance of a number is revealed according to the context of the number within a person’s life and the definitions of numbers according to their cross cultural meanings as described within The Healer’s Handbook – which serves as a regular reference for me.
The process of reduction helps us reveal reference numbers which help describe an individual. For example, 9 is a mirroring number, a kind of “magic” number; any single digit number added to 9 and reduced will equal that same number:
According to all numbering systems, 9 represents the end of a cycle. In the vedic or chakra system, the “9th” chakrum is represented by the color gold. A person with the 9 value name mirrors his world while maintaining his distinct individuality. 9 value people can also represent the end of an era (ergo, the beginning of a new era) depending on the further synchronicity of 9 within that person’s life.
Elvis was a 9. In fact, let’s summarize his numbers right now at a few of the most important times in his life. Elvis was:
- Attracted to 9’s
- Indoctrinated by 10’s
- Repelled by 12’s
- Defined by 4’s=>22’s
- Driven by the 6’s=>33’s
In a few places, you will see 4=>22 and 6=>33 depending on the context of Elvis’ Life. As you will see, context is more important than the number itself when it comes to making numerology truly useful as a “measuring” tool of a person’s life.
The following are a few short excerpts taken from the Wikipedia page of Elvis Aaron Presley. I’m hoping that the segments I excerpted are actually true. Elvis had a long, illustrious career wherein numerology of his entire life would, no doubt, take an encyclopedia. I’m hoping that I captured at least a few important points in his life.
Elvis Presley’s Numerology
Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was an American singer and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the “King of Rock and Roll” or simply “The King.”
The following is a detailed example of applying a value to each letter with Pythagorean Reduction. The rest of the numerical extractions are provided for your convenience:
Elvis Aaron Presley
53491 11965 7951357
5+3+4+9+1=22
1+1+9+6+5=22
7+9+5+1+3+5+7=37=>3+7=1022+22+10=>9
01/08/1935=>(1+8=9)+(1+9+3+5=>9)=>9
I’m parting ways with everyone who insist to use Elvis’ legal middle name, “Aron (rhymes with Garon).” Elvis preferred the Biblical spelling of Aaron. Who am I or you to argue with the King if he thought of himself as “Aaron?” This is the name frequency he preferred.
22 represents transition. 10 represents new beginnings. Elvis was defined by his name and followed the Presley Doctrines, mainly his mother’s. Elvis’ name is like saying “Transition, Transition, New beginnings” which gives extra momentum to new beginnings. Elvis’ Life was certainly a new beginning for everyone in the modern world.
To have a birth date match a person’s name value in both month/date and year is more than a coincidence; it’s almost as if a high order of priests from ancient antiquity planned his birth. This kind of synchronicity actually refers to “The 9,” a hyperspace consciousness that should be explored, but not here.
Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, with his family when he was 13 years old. His music career began there in 1954,
recording at Sun Records with producer Sam Phillips,…
{(Tupelo=>8) + (Mississippi=>4)}=>12
{(Memphis=>11) + (Tennessee=>7)}=>9
{(1954=>10) + (Sun=>9) + (Records=>10)}=>11
{(Sam=>6) + (Phillips=>11)}=>812’s represent mind, body, and spirit or the entire spectrum of a person, place, or thing. In the case of Tupelo, he was repelled from it, but he was attracted to Memphis, TN. He was also attracted to Sun Records which represented 11, a new cycle in 1954, a year value of 10 which represented another new beginning. Sam Phillips represented 8 or what seemed like an infinity of possibilities.
In 1955,.. RCA Victor acquired his contract in a deal arranged by Colonel Tom Parker, who would manage the singer for more than two decades. Presley’s first RCA single, “Heartbreak Hotel,” was released in January 1956 and became a number one hit in the United States.
1955=>2
{(RCA=>4=>22) + (Victor)}=>10
(Tom + Parker)=>9
(Heartbreak + Hotel)=>5
(01+1956)=>22In 1955, Elvis and others were getting into his music, physically and spiritually. Elvis was defined by RCA as another new beginning. He was attracted to the business mind of Tom Parker. 5 represents healing, so “Heartbreak Hotel” was a kind of healing for Elvis (and everyone else who listened) in January 1956 which was yet another transition for him and everyone else around him.
Elvis Presley was born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi, to Gladys Love Presley in the two-room shotgun house built by his father, Vernon Elvis Presley, in preparation for the birth. Jesse Garon Presley, his identical twin brother, was delivered 35 minutes before him, stillborn…
{Gladys + (Love=>9) + Presley}=>24=>6=>33
(Vernon + Elvis + Presley)=>12
(Jesse + Garon + Presley)=>24=>6=>33Elvis’ father wasn’t the best provider and he wasn’t the smartest person, so Elvis was probably repelled by him. Whereas, Elvis’ mother represented the strength and love in the Presley family. (Guess the numerical value of “Love…”) 6 represents new ideas and vision; it can break down to 33 meaning the end of a series of cycles. Elvis may have been driven by the knowledge that he could have had a twin brother.
What is strange is the “coincidental” numerology that comes later. You see, Elvis’ mother was very important to him, but Elvis’ twin was his other half, like any other twin…
On March 24, 1958, Presley was drafted into the U.S. Army as a private at Fort Chaffee, near Fort Smith, Arkansas…
(03+24+1958)=>6=>33
This day was another end of a series of cycles, most likely, the end of Elvis’ James Dean image and finding his own.
In early August, his mother was diagnosed with hepatitis and her condition rapidly worsened. Presley, granted emergency leave to visit her, arrived in Memphis on August 12. Two days later, she died of heart failure, aged 46. Presley was devastated; their relationship had remained extremely close-even into his adulthood, they would use baby talk with each other and Presley would address her with pet names.
{(08+14=>22=>4) + (1958=>33)}=>10
46=>10Elvis went through another transition on this day. He was defined by this moment, by this end of his mother’s series of cycles and transitioned to a new beginning with the time he had left with her.
While in Friedberg, Presley met 14-year-old Priscilla Beaulieu. They would eventually marry after a seven-and-a-half-year courtship.
{(Priscilla=>9) + (Beaulieu=>4)}=>4=>22
(Priscilla + Presley)=>104 represents ego. Priscilla was probably all about her ego, especially when Elvis took an interest, but she also represented another important transition. Of all the women he met, he waited for a teenager, so he could be indoctrinated into another new beginning: married life.
Presley returned to the United States on March 2, 1960, and was honorably discharged three days later with the rank of sergeant…
(03+02+1960)=>3
3 represents perfection in creation. Elvis returned to civilian life to experience a number of peaks throughout his career.
Presley’s only child, Lisa Marie, was born on February 1, 1968, during a period when he had grown deeply unhappy with his career.
(Lisa + Marie + Presley)=>7
(02+01+1968)=>107 represents completion in physical reality. Lisa Marie was the fruit of Elvis’ paternal instincts and represented yet another new beginning – which kept him grounded.
Recorded in late June in Burbank, California, the special, called simply Elvis, aired on December 3, 1968. Later known as the ’68 Comeback Special, the show featured lavishly staged studio productions as well as songs performed with a band in front of a small audience-Presley’s first live performances since 1961…
(12+03+1968)=>12=>3
Many things were happening in Elvis’ life, especially his personal life. He may have preferred that he was doing something else on that day because he had so much on his plate; it’s possible he would have preferred to do his TV special the next day (31=>4=>22). By the same token, the Come Back Special was perfection in creation.
The Presleys separated on February 23, 1972, after Priscilla disclosed her relationship with Mike Stone, a karate instructor Presley had recommended to her.
(02+23+1972)=>9
(Mike + Stone)=>12Elvis preferred the separation over the tension he experienced with Priscilla. He probably saw this separation coming from miles away. Mike Stone stabbed Elvis in the back, but Elvis was not being the best husband.
Five months later, Presley’s new girlfriend, Linda Thompson, a songwriter and one-time Memphis beauty queen, moved in with him…
{(Linda=>22) + (Thompson=>12)}=>7
Elvis found a kindred spirit in Linda; she kept him grounded, but he was never in love with her, so the relationship didn’t last.
Presley was scheduled to fly out of Memphis on the evening of August 16, 1977, to begin another tour. That afternoon, Alden discovered him in an unresponsive state on his bathroom floor. Attempts to revive him failed, and death was officially pronounced at 3:30 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
3:30=>33
{(Baptist=>24) + (Memorial=>5) + (Hospital=>10)}=>3
{(08+16=24=>6=>33) + (1977=24=>6=>33)}=>12
42=>6=>33
(6+6+6)=>9And so it came: Elvis was repelled by the final 12. His death seemed planned “according to the numbers” as well as his birth. As you see, the 24=>6=>33’s in his final date matched the 24=>6=>33’s of his mother and twin brother, save for his age. He was driven to death by whatever “beast” dwelled in his mind represented by the 666. But when we reduce the mark of the “beast,” the miracle of “The 9” will always survive.
Elvis Lives. Long live The King.
Addendum: A strange coincidence with a random number generator
I had an interesting sensation when I looked up the numbers for this paper: I felt a kind of euphoria or trance many times like the “mental level delta” discussed in the guided meditation course, from Probable Future. I decided to look up the numbers from a fav random number generator on the same day I was looking up Elvis’ Numerology. Here’s what I found:
POWERBALL WINNING NUMBERS
Draw 521 – 2018-04-04 (=>8+10=>9)
The Powerball winning numbers are 42, 64, 54, 8, 24 and 24. (=216=>9)
