“Prayer is your talking to God; meditation is your listening to God.”
-Yogi Amrit Desai
Some people have asked me how remote viewing is like Nei Gong Meditation from my last post from “Updating Your Childhood: Origin of Cognitive Commitments.” I know it seems like I digressed from that subject, but I’m into esoteric solutions which are spiritually fulfilling whereas mainstream solutions tend to leave people empty.
Cognitive commitments are all about lack of control in your life pushed on you since childhood. The esoteric solutions are all about your regaining that control, so you can get rid of those childhood cognitive commitments that hold you back.
I believe that those solutions which allow you to expand upon your true nature are the best solutions. The most efficient solutions are the ones that expand upon your consciousness and your spirituality. We should go with the most practical solutions that return the most control to us. This means removing psychic barriers that are deeply rooted in our subconscious.
In order to remove those psychic barriers we need to do psychic exercises that strengthen us to break through and push far beyond those barriers which are part of mainstream thought.
Let’s face the facts: So called “leaders” in mainstream society are control freaks; they want the control of the people’s lives for themselves, therein lies their power. Imagine a world where everyone has control over their own destiny, then the power would lie with the collective human race.
Imagine how far the human race can advance through our collective intentions as advanced beings. Unfortunately, not enough people think this way. Fortunately, you’re here. At least, you can control your destiny.
Self control takes intense mental discipline. Nei Gong Meditation is taught by the most proficient instructors in martial and medical qigong. The Nei Gong adepts are able to perform miraculous feats such as starting fires and lighting electrical bulbs with their bare hands.
Gerald O’Donnell demonstrates in his course on remote viewing and remote influencing how the principles of Nei Gong were adopted for expanding the mind to reach beyond the physical body. You can download sample mp3’s from Academy of Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing to discover what I mean exactly.
For now, I would like to compare Gerald O’Donnell‘s remote viewing exercises to Nei Gong. The reasons I want to do this are because:
- We need a greater, higher spiritual purpose other than relaxation when meditating.
- We need to recognise that meditation is part of nature which is part of self improvement.
- We need to understand that meditation is a tool for advancing humanity (and that certain fearful Christians are avoiding the precepts of meditation in the Holy Bible).
- The common root between all the intensely disciplined meditations is internal alchemy.
First, Let’s look at Nei Gong according to this excerpt from Wikipedia:
Neigong, also spelled nei kung, neigung, or nae gong, is any of a set of Chinese breathing, meditation and spiritual practice disciplines associated with Daoism and especially the Chinese martial arts. Neigong practice is normally associated with the so called “soft style”, “internal” or nèijiā 內家 Chinese martial arts, as opposed to the category known as waigong 外功 or “external skill” which is historically associated with shaolinquan or the so called “hard style”, “external” or wàijiā 外家 Chinese martial arts. Both have many different schools, disciplines and practices and historically there has been mutual influence between the two and distinguishing precisely between them differs from school to school.
There is both martial and non-martial neigong. Well known examples of martial neigong are the various breathing and focus trainings taught in some traditional Taijiquan, Baguazhang and Xingyiquan schools. An example of non-martial neigong is the discipline known as Daoyin…
You don’t have to be any particular religion to enjoy the benefits of Nei Gong Meditation. There is only an association to Taoism because westerners recognise Nei Gong as a Taoist practice. In fact, there are different forms of Nei Gong practiced all over the world by different cultures, but in the more esoteric realms.
For example, in Kabbalist Meditation, some people would say these are occult exercises. Maybe they are; it depends on the meditation.
Here’s one more excert from Wikipedia that helps prove my point:
Neigong and meditation
This type of practice is said to require concentration and internal reflection which results in a heightened self-awareness that increases over time with continued practice. Neigong practitioners report awareness of the mechanics of their blood circulation, peristalsis, muscular movement, skeletal alignment, balance, etc.
What is said to be occurring as the result of continual practice is a type of internal alchemy, that is a refinement and transmutation of the “Three Treasures” or San Bao (三寳), in Chinese. The Three Treasures are known as Jing (精), Qi (氣) and Shen (神) and can be loosely translated as Essence, Vitality and Spirit…
Don’t worry if any of these excerpts confuse you. Daoyin as a subject of enlightment through meditation is an academic subject. The knowledge base is extensive. The people who really know this stuff are quite scholarly.
My first exposure to this was through texts by Dr. Yang Jwing Ming in the form of Muscle/Tendon Changing and Marrow/Brain Washing Chi Kung: The Secret of Youth; it’s actually a little scary how deep and strange and hardcore Qigong (Chi Kung) can be, especially when you start with hardcore literature like this.
The difference is you don’t have to be scholarly to experience the miraculous effects of expanding your consciousness. If you want deep, strange, hardcore control over your own life, then all you really need is the guidance. All you need is a mentor to do a little “hand holding” with you to guide you in your quest for control.
More importantly, you want a guide who can easily follow and understand without having to learn any bizarre language. For example, here are the interpretations for remote viewing and remote influencing from the Academy of Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing:
Remote Viewing (RV) refers to scientifically proven mind technologies that break the space-time barrier. Remote Viewing is the ability to perceive, through a projection of heightened consciousness, people and events, distant in time-space. This Mind Technology was developed since the 1950’s by both US, Western, and Eastern European Intelligence Agencies. They achieved some great successes, some still classified.
These same Remote Viewing methods have been adapted for kinder and more practical civilian use, and are now presented for the greater benefit of each one of you, as part of humankind. Our Remote Viewing Training System teaches you to perceive anything located anyplace in space and time using potent techniques that go well beyond current Western and Eastern intelligence agencies’ espionage methods.
Remote Influencing (RI) is an original term first introduced by our Academy in 1997 and refers to our very advanced technology, transcending most other known methods, by which one can powerfully influence thoughts and consensual reality by mind-power and inner energy alone.
Of course, you might argue that this says nothing about using Nei Gong exercises. Neither do any of the esoteric religions or secret religious sects in this world say they use Nei Gong. This is because Nei Gong is simply the Chinese Cultural expression of the same phenomena that exists all over the world: Internal Alchemy through Meditation, the advancement of humanity through communion with nature. That Nature is God. When We’re closer to God, We’re closer to our Humanity, our true nature.
This same phenomenon exists all over the world because we’re all human and we’re all part of the same nature. We’re all aspects of the One Mind of God. The difference is certain control freaks decided to turn the laws of life, prayers and meditations into the world’s religions.
You don’t need to be religious to regain control over your life, but it does help to be spiritually oriented. The proof at Collective DNA Consciousness seems to indicate that you will live a longer, happier life when you are spiritually oriented and proves that you DO have control over your own life.
What’s most important is to have that guidance which is simple to follow, yet helps you become an adept at amazing psychic feats known as remote viewing and remote influencing. Gerald O’Donnell provides the guidance you need to regain that control over your life.
